The Acme Hotdog & Sausage Company Dog Eating Contest
GENERAL RULES:

No purchase required to enter.
This contest is not open to staff or family members of the event sponsor or any Acme affiliates or partners.
By submitting an application fee, entrant consents to Acme using winner’s name(s), address, likeness, and prize information in Acme publications and media.<
Taxes, fees, and licenses, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
You must be 18 years of age or older or a waiver from a legal guardian or parent will be required

CONTEST EATING RULES

Creative participation is strongly encouraged, but good sportsmanship is required.
This event will be a 12-minute contest sanctioned by Acme and sponsored in part by The Acme Hotdog & Sausage Company.
Classic Nathan’s Famous eating rules will be in effect (These guys are Pro’s as they have done this for years! We think they have the best RULES)
These are rules of a contest that allow for a food item to be separated, dunked, mushed , and mashed in an effort to consume the most hot dogs. Food Warriors will be given five hot dogs and buns to start. There will be two each 32 oz cups of water for dunking or drinking, mustard and ketchup on the table for the contestants. When the last of the five hot dogs is in process of consumption, five more will be placed before the contestant.
Should a Food Warrior be observed hiding their hot dogs, dropping them under the table, or placing them on another Warrior’s plate he/she will be deemed in performance of a "picnic profanity" and will be disqualified.
Food Warriors who suffer a reversal of fortune and/or urges contrary to swallowing will be disqualified (and probably laughed at!).
Food Warriors must keep the hot dogs submerged for a period of two minutes after the contest. The "Chipmunking Rule" will be in effect, which means that all food to count must be swallowed 30 seconds after the 1-minute buzzer.
Gurgitators who are found to be in violation of the “Chipmunking Rule” will be penalized ½ a hot dog.
In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by a 4-minute hot dog eat-off with the winner being the one who consumes the most.
Judges will determine final amounts eaten by the contestants.
Decision by the judges is final!
All contestants are required to check in at 10:30 a.m. prior to the contest on August 7, 2010.
Each registrant MUST sign the liability waiver and release for use of images for promotional purposes.

Winners will receive:

Bragging rights as King Acme and Queen Acme for a year until the next contest.
A free Combo per month for a year! And your picture on the Wall of Fame
